Aquarius Wallpaper

I have been thinking to make a monthly calender with Zodiac sign characters.

it does sound like something that would take really long...

anyway, I started with drawing Aquarius wallpaper.

this is the line sketch done with SAI.

this is the first time which I draw directly on the tablet. it is actually not that hard...

at least easier than i thought

As you can see... he became a girl. My compliant is that he is already very girlie to start with... for someone like me who is extremely bad at drawing boys it would just make things worse...

Avril Lavigne - Alice

To be honest, I didn't quite like Avril Lavigne for the last couple years... Didn't quite like her Girlfriend album.

However, I think she has improved and have done a great job here.

testing SAI

SAI Painting Tool is a Japanese software developed for anime/manga style CG painting. Quite a number of people have been using it...

I saw the tutorials on the internet have a trend of using the blending tool frequently. Being curious, I downloaded and tried the software. However... I find the blending brush very bad for painting hair... They turn out to be very opaque and has completely lost the glossiness...

The posture is strange... I know... this is just for test purpose...
